This is a demand test. Gap Watch is not launched yet: the monthly service is not running, and no payments or pre-orders are being accepted. Joining the waitlist is free and commits you to nothing.
The problem
"No website" filters mainly catch businesses with a blank website field. In our first batch of 26 hand-checked Austin hair & beauty businesses, 10 had a website URL listed in public directory/listing data that, when we checked it on 2026-10-25, was dead, parked, disconnected, or served an unrelated business (a re-check on 2026-10-28 gave consistent results). A simple has-no-website filter would likely skip them, because a website is listed. Directories don't flag which listed websites have gone stale.
What the monthly list would include (planned)
• Proposed price being tested: $49/month for one city and niche. Not final, and not for sale yet.
• A target of 10-25 newly verified Austin hair & beauty businesses with online-presence gaps each month. This is a target range, not a guaranteed quantity.
• Evidence for every gap: source link, date checked, and what we saw.
• A re-check of previously delivered businesses: still open, fixed, changed, or closed.
• A change log of listed websites that newly broke or got fixed.
• CSV + PDF delivery.
• Planned limit of about 5 subscribers per list, so the same businesses aren't pitched by everyone.
